1x01 Putting Two 'n Two Together
In the pilot episode we are introduced to Carrie, who returns to college at age 28, after exploring the world. Kevin Burke, her teacher, decides immediately she will be nothing but trouble. Kevin in more occupied with finding a babysitter for his twin daughters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Burke. His favourite candidate is a quiet, old lady from down the street, whilst the twins are rooting for Carrie!

1x02 The Tutor
Mary-Kate needs a maths tutor! Ashley finds this very amusing, until she lays eyes on the gorgeous guy that walks into their house – all ready to tutor Mary-Kate! Taylor Donovan is 15 and the guy of Ashley’s dreams. But Ashley is brilliant at maths! Can the twins pull a switch that fools the tutor and their father?

1x03 Prelude to a Kiss
Ashley is excited that the most popular girl in school, Jennifer, is coming to the twins’ sleepover. She never expected Mary-Kate to steal the spotlight by revealing a secret about herself that even Ashley didn’t know. Meanwhile, Carrie is spending the night at Kevin’s, to help with the sleepover, but when Paul (another of Kevin’s students) delivers a pizza, he gets the wrong idea about Carrie and Kevin’s relationship.

1x04 – First Crush
Ashley has been paired with her latest crush, Pokey Valentine, on a school History project, and can’t wait to spend some time with him. However, when Pokey asks Mary-Kate to play basketball with him, Ashley is jealous. Somehow Mary-Kate got the real date, while Ashley is stuck studying.

1x05 – Breaking Them Up is Hard to Do
Kevin has a date with a woman called Marci! But Mary-Kate and Ashley are determined that it won’t go well, as they are afraid of losing Carrie if Kevin gets a new girlfriend. Its up to the twins to sabotage the date, any possible way they can!

1x06 Nightmare on Carrie's Street
Carrie is throwing a huge Halloween party for her friends, and Mary-Kate and Ashley really want to go. When their father says they are too young, they must devise a plan to sneak in Carrie’s party. Changing Halloween costumes with their friends Max and Brian seems like a good idea at the time, but who will get the last laugh on this scary night?

1x07 The Heartbreak Kid
When Carrie takes the girls shopping, Mary-Kate buys a birdcage. Kevin is very worried, as Mary-Kate hasn’t had the best history with pets. However, Carries helps Mary-Kate choose a new pet, a homing pigeon, which she is convinced will be good for Mary-Kate’s confidence in pets. But then the bird flies away and doesn’t return…

1x08 You've Got a Friend
Ashley has a new best friend at school, which leaves Mary-Kate feeling very jealous. Will Mary-Kate sabotage Ashley’s new friendship to get her sister back? Meanwhile, Eddie and Kevin go to a rock concert, but all Kevin can do is complain.

1x09 Model Behavior
A Supermodel is coming to the girls’ school, to find a teenage girl to shoot a new fashion layout in a magazine. Ashley is determined that she will be the chosen girl! However, Mary-Kate also goes to the audition and it is her that is chosen for the shoot! Ashley can’t believe it, and tries to convince Mary-Kate to swap places, but Mary-Kate secretly wants the job for herself.

1x10 Peeping Twins
When Kevin buys a telescope, the twins decide to snoop on some of their neighbours – only to see some very frightening things going on in Mrs Baker’s house! The situation gets worse when Kevin asks Mrs Baker to look after Mary-Kate and Ashley whilst he goes out with Carrie. The girls are going to be all alone with a very dangerous woman!

1x11 A Very Carrie Christmas
Mary-Kate and Ashley are so happy that Carrie has agreed to spend Christmas Eve with them, but Kevin isn’t too sure. First Carrie introduces customs and Christmas traditions of her own, and then she invites a homeless man to come and have dinner with them. Can Kevin and the girls trust the homeless man, or will it end in disaster for the entire family?

1x12 Let's Dance
Mary-Kate has a crush! She wants to get to know classmate Jeremy, so Ashley makes it her mission to get Mary-Kate together with her dream date! Mary-Kate plucks up the courage to speak to Jeremy about the upcoming school dance, and he ends up telling her that he likes swing music. Cue Carrie, with some swing-dance lessons for the girls! Will it be enough to impress Jeremy?

1x13 Split Decision
Mary-Kate and Ashley are arguing more than ever, and Kevin doesn’t know what to do with them. Eventually the girls decide that they need a break from each other, and move into separate bedrooms. It’s the first time that they have been apart and at first the girls love their newfound freedom, but will it turn out to be too much of a good thing?

1x14 My Boyfriend's Back
Carrie’s ex-boyfriend is coming to visit, and she is determined to look as if she has done just as much with her romantic life as he has, so convinces Kevin to pretend to be her fiancé. Meanwhile, Mary-Kate and Ashley aren’t invited to a big party, so they decide to throw their own! However, things quickly get out of control and the twins are worried they have made a big mistake!

1x15 No Man's Land
Ashley develops a huge crush on Eric, a sport-obsessed classmate of the twins’. Mary-Kate can’t possibly see what the two of them have in common, but agrees to teach Ashley all about sports so that she can impress Eric. However, once Ashley gets to know Eric a bit better, she realises that maybe Mary-Kate is right. Can Ashley watch one more basketball game without going crazy?

1x16 Carrie Moves In
Carrie is evicted from her apartment and blames it all on Kevin, who didn’t mail her rent check in time! The girls think it would be a brilliant idea for Carrie to move in with them, and Carrie jumps at the idea! Now all they have to do is convince their father, Kevin, to let Carrie stay! Will Kevin agree to remodel the basement into a gorgeous apartment space for Carrie? Meanwhile, Mary-Kate is torn between her crush in karate class and beating him to get her purple belt. Will she make the right decision?

1x17 Mr. Right Under Your Nose
Ashley plans a school fundraiser, but doesn’t raise nearly enough money as she promised. She needs to find a way to make some more, so turns to the only person whom she thinks can help her – the school gambler! Will Ashley be lucky, or will she lose all the school’s funds that she has raised so far?

1x18 Welcome Matt
Kevin’s brother Matt, the girls’ favourite uncle, is coming for a visit, and Mary-Kate and Ashley can’t wait! Kevin, on the other hand, is worried that Matt may be a bad influence on the girls. His suspicions seem to be proved right, when the girls end up in hospital after a hockey brawl! But who were the ones in trouble? The girls, or their unfortunate seatmates?

1x19 The Odd Couples
For their latest school assignment, Mary-Kate and Ashley are paired up with random boys, in order to learn about marriage and life as an adult. Ashley is ecstatic as she has been paired with the gorgeous Jared, whilst Mary-Kate gets stuck with the nerdiest boy in school, Ethan. However, are looks more important than brains? Mary-Kate soon learns that she has the better deal by far, as both girls learn valuable lessons about life and love.

1x20 When A Man Leaves a Woman
Mary-Kate has always loved riding, so her father can’t understand it when she turns down Carrie’s offer to go riding together. Mary-Kate, it turns out, is just trying to protect her father from memories of their mother, who used to love riding as well. Meanwhile, Ashley gets into trouble for using her dad’s credit card to order a gorgeous new handbag over the Internet.

1x21 The Goodbye Girl
Kevin is feeling very lonely, and can’t take another bad set-up. Then he learns that Carrie plans to leave for the summer, to travel through South America. Is Kevin attracted to Carrie, and if so, will he ever admit it? The twins try to help, by creating romantic atmospheres between Kevin and Carrie, but they just end up arguing. Will a final good-bye at the airport, and a brief kiss, lead to anything more when Carrie returns after the summer?

1x22 Kevin Burke's Day Off
Ashley is desperate to join the cheerleading squad and will do anything to impress head-cheerleader Courtney. But Mary-Kate seems to be ruining her chances when she befriends the strange new student Gabrielle. Can Ashley convince Mary-Kate to drop her new friend? Or will Ashley finally see just how shallow Courtney really is, and finally take her down?
