1x01 Dangerous Love
The first episode of the series serves as an introduction to all the characters. We see Elizabeth breaking up with her boyfriend, Todd, as he nominates her for home-coming queen. Jessica, steamed at both the loss of the home-coming queen title and college guy Scott’s attention to Elizabeth, begins her scheming ways to get what she wants... You just know this is going to end in tears.
1x02 Oracle on Air
Sweet Valley High school unveils a new on-air news station, leading to a battle between the twins for the spotlight. Meanwhile, Winston attempts to pull even with Bruce’s pranks.
1x03 Skin and Bones
Jessica can’t allow artist Dakota to paint Enid instead of herself for a national art exhibition, so lets it slip that Dakota is planning on painted Enid nude. This seemingly brilliant plan is just sure to backfire…sure enough, Jessica falls foul to the very same threat she made to Enid.
1x04 – Critical Mess
The always-accurate gossip grapevine leads to the gang believing that Bruce’s uncle is a big-time movie director. Jessica and Lila are both determined to land a starring role, and with Jessica playing the lead in the school play Macbeth, she thinks she has the upper hand…until Elizabeth reviews the play for the school newspaper.
1x05 – What, Me Study?
In danger of being thrown off the cheerleading squad, Jessica must ace the next Science test. After managing to hack in Mr Russo’s personal computer account, Winston finds himself with some very juicy gossip on the teacher, which Jessica uses to blackmail him into getting her a copy of the test. Alas, Mr Russo finds out the test was stolen and Winston is the prime suspect…
1x06 Almost Married
With both Elizabeth and Todd’s parents away for the weekend, they take the opportunity to ‘live together’, however soon realise you can have too much of a good thing. Again, cue Jessica with some well-placed blackmailing and use of credit cards and you just know this can’t end well!
1x07 The Curse of Lawrence Manson
Its Halloween and the gang decide to try to contact the spirit of Lawrence Manson, a student who died at the school 20 years ago. But as the evening progresses and pranks run out of control, the group is no longer sure if this is a set-up or has the ghost of Lawrence returned?
1x08 The Prince of Santa Dora
To Elizabeth’s surprise her long-time penpal, Prince Arthur Castillio, shows up in Sweet Valley. Jessica and Arthur immediately fall for each other and try to escape Arthur’s bodyguard to spend some time alone together. Jessica is falling hard, but when Lila discovers a shocking secret about Arthur, will she break Jessica’s heart? In public.
1x09 Coma
After being stranded at the Moon Beach by Jessica, Elizabeth is forced to have a ride back to school on Todd’s new motorcycle, but the two are hit by a drunk driver. Todd escapes unharmed but Elizabeth falls into a coma. When she finally awakes, Elizabeth seems to have undergone a severe personality change, and is suddenly more ‘Jessica’ than Jessica herself!
1x10 Uh-Oh-Seven
Unhappy with the amount of female action-heroes, Elizabeth sets out to write her own alternative James Bond-esque story, which the cast act out in a fantasy setting. Enter Blonde, Platinum Blonde.
1x11 Secrets
Enid is chosen as representative for an anti-drugs campaign, with the chance to tour the country with Steven Tyler! However, Enid feels that her past prevents her from being a good role model for anti-drugs. When confiding in Elizabeth, Jessica overhears and immediately uses this to her advantage.
1x12 Photographic Evidence
While at the beach, Elizabeth ends up snapping a picture of two criminals and the man they have kidnapped. When the guys in the picture try to track her down they end up finding Jessica, who typically ends up falling for one of them! Unaware of the danger she is in, Jessica pretends to be Elizabeth in order to win the stranger over, but he is only interested in getting the picture back.
1x13 Club X
Jessica is determined to prove to Bruce that she’s got what it takes to join the all-male elusive Club X, who are terrorising the school with their pranks. Todd is becoming obsessed with his money-making basketball scheme – enter Elizabeth and Winston to teach him a well-deserved lesson.
1x14 Poetic Injustice
New poetry teacher Adam is attracting a lot of attention around school – so much so that Jessica joins the poetry club to get to know him better. When the others tease her about her lack of poetry talent she undergoes a major image and personality change to prove herself as a serious poet. However, trying to pass a poem off she found in Elizabeth’s book as her own leads to some disastrous results.
1x15 Stolen Diary
Jealous of the amount of time Elizabeth is spending with Todd, Jessica tries to break them up by enlisting Peggy. When Elizabeth catches Peggy throwing herself at Todd, she is so upset she breaks up with him. Jessica convinces her to go on a date with Kris, but Elizabeth rejects him. Kris is now out for revenge, and he’s found the perfect weapon – Elizabeth’s diary.
1x16 Love on the Line
While working on a teen hotline, Enid meets Mike, the quarterback from Bridgewater High, who she helps deal with his parent’s divorce. When he wants to meet her in person she is scared he won’t think she’s ‘cool’ enough, so enlists Jessica’s help. But after taking one look at Mike, Jessica wants him for herself. Its now up to Elizabeth to show Mike what ‘Jessica’ is really like.
1x17 Working Girl
Each of the gang has to take on a new job. While grudgingly working at the Moon Beach, Lila meets a poor delivery boy who believes that she is just a struggling waitress. She tries to hide her true identity from him in order for them to stay together. Jessica finds out about the harsh realities of the fashion world while working for the designer Dante.
1x18 Dancing Fools
Its time for the Annual Pacific Freestyle Dance competition again, and two year reigning champion Jessica is determined to make it three. But when her dance partner announces he is leaving town to tour the world with Madonna, Jessica is furious! Now Lila and her world-famous partner actually have a chance of winning. Jessica needs to find a new partner fast, but it looks like Winston is the only option…
1x19 Kidnapped (Part 1)
Elizabeth is working at the hospital as a candy striper, when she finds herself caring for the talk-show host Jeremy Frank. When Jessica finds out, she is determined to meet Jeremy and become his new co-host. Todd is getting jealous of the amount of time Elizabeth is spending with Winston, especially when she starts to receive flowers and letters from a secret admirer.
1x20 Kidnapped (Part 2)
When Elizabeth doesn’t show up to a party, Todd is the first one to get suspicious. They find that Elizabeth has been kidnapped. Winston is found at the crime scene by the police and is arrested, which leads everyone to think he’s the one who’s kidnapped her.
1x21 Kidnapped (Part 3)
Elizabeth is home safe and sound, but when her kidnapper escapes from prison the twins are put under police surveillance for their protection. Jessica gets tired of being followed around and manages to sneak off – right into the arms of the kidnapper, who thinks she is Elizabeth.
1x22 Say Goodbye
Todd is accepted into Fairmont Academy – a prestigious school with one of the best basketball teams in the country. The only problem is, its in Vermont. Elizabeth is devastated and tries, unsuccessfully, to spend as much time as possible with Todd before he leaves. This leads to arguments and they part on bad terms. Nicholas Morrow asks Elizabeth out, leaving Jessica fuming. She concocts a plan for Todd to return to Sweet Valley and Nicholas to end up hers – with disastrous results!

2x01 Summer Lovin’
Its time for the annual end of the summer Beach Olympics and Jessica is determined that her team will beat Bruce’s. Meanwhile, an ecstatic Elizabeth learns that Todd is returning to Sweet Valley for good. However once he is back, Todd is miserable and moody and breaks up with her. Elizabeth can’t understand what is wrong, until she learns he was cut from the teams.
2x02 Model Behaviour
A new student arrives at Sweet Valley High, the model Tatyana Thomas. She is hoping to start over as normal student, but this proves difficult with adoring fans around. Can Elizabeth make the transition from model to student any easier for her?
2x03 Promotional Rescue
Bruce becomes the proud owner of the Moon Beach, promptly firing Winston and hiring Jessica as his partner. Does Jessica really have business-sense required to run a restaurant? Enid and Cheryl take Elizabeth camping, to distract her from memories of Todd.
2x04 The Dark Side of the Moon Beach
Elizabeth thinks that she may be ready to date again, so Jessica, Lila and Enid set her up on enough dates to last a lifetime! Meanwhile, Winston catches Todd trying to steal a car with his new group of friends.
2x05 IQ Commeth
Thanks to a high score on a college compatibility test, Jessica is chosen to represent the school in an academic bowl. Even though she knows her high score was mistakenly calculated, she decides to enter anyway. Winston falls foul to a group of bullies (Todd’s new friends), who are demanding money off him.
2x06 False Possessions
While at the mall, Jessica catches Lila shoplifting. Lila tells her its such a rush that Jessica decides to try it for herself. Enid is developing feelings for Todd, and when she asks him out and he accepts, she is ecstatic. Of course, Todd thinks they are just friends.
2x07 A Fair To Remember
Todd’s basketball coach asks him to show his son, Jason, around town. Todd is disgusted when Jason brags about dating both Elizabeth and Jessica, and tried to warn Elizabeth what he is doing.
2x08 It’s My Part and I’ll Ditch if I Want To
Its time for the annual Wakefield slumber party, but Jessica decides she is too ‘grown-up’ for such a night, and chooses to accompany Bruce to a sophisticated dinner party. Meanwhile, the Sweet Valley guys are planning to crash the slumber party.
2x09 Blunder Alley
Elizabeth and Todd are both trying to date other people, but they meet up at the bowling alley sparks really begin to fly. Bruce installs a fortune-telling booth at the Moon Beach, which only predicts bad luck to Jessica and Lila.
2x10 Like Water For Hot Dogs
Todd and Elizabeth’s anniversary is coming up and Todd is determined to fix things between them. He enlists Lila for romantic advice, but when Elizabeth sees them together she gets the wrong idea. Can Lila and Winston convince the couple to see the light.
2x11 The Quick and the Blonde
Bruce claims that one of his ancestors, Bruno, founded Sweet Valley, but Elizabeth makes a discover that proves otherwise. Cue flashback to the times of the Wild West.
2x12 Mixed Doubles
Bruce falls for exchange student Isabel, and enlists Jessica to help win her over. All is going well until Bruce and Jessica start to discover they may have feelings for each other. Elizabeth tries to boost Enid’s self-confidence by giving her a job at the Oracle, but pretty soon it becomes clear that the Oracle is way better off without her.
2x13 Reading, Writing, Rescue
When Jessica saves Winston’s life, Bruce happened to catch it all on camera. Now Winston is forever in Jessica’s debt, and nothing she can do can get rid of him. Enid thinks everything is going well with her new fling David, but fears he is losing interest when he keeps standing her up. Elizabeth however discovers why this is really happening.
2x14 The War of the Pom-Poms
New transfer student, Heather Malone, is a star-cheerleader and is quickly made co-caption with Jessica. Furious, Jessica quits the squad to start her own, but needs one more member - Elizabeth. After finding evidence of an affair Elizabeth had with Todd’s best friend while he was in Vermont, Jessica has perfect ammunition to get her last squad member.
2x15 You Call This a Wonderful Life?
After feeling rejected when their friends don’t show up for their Christmas party, Jessica and Elizabeth feel like Sweet Valley would never miss them if they’d never been born. A very familiar sounding angel is sent down, to show the twins that their friends’ lives are in fact much better off because of the twins’ presence.
2x16 Sam Enchanted Evening
Todd’s new motorcross hobby leads to Jessica meeting Sam Woodruff – the guy of her dreams. But as she gets to know him better, Elizabeth discovers something shocking – Sam used to be in jail. Is Jessica in danger?
2x17 Totally Clueless
A pool contest at the Moon Beach offers the winners a free trip to the Bahamas, which Jessica and Lila are determined to win, despite their complete lack of knowledge about pool. Manny is trying to win over Enid’s heart, and enlists Winston to convince her she has amnesia and that Manny is actually her boyfriend.
2x18 Win Sam, Lose Sam
There is the possibility of Sam going to race in Australia, but his relationship with Jessica is more important to him. The Sweet Valley High school yearbooks are out, and the results stir up some interesting events around school.
2x19 Identical Opposites
The Foxie Jones talk show is coming to Sweet Valley and they are looking for twins to star on it! Jessica is first in line, with a very reluctant Elizabeth behind her – especially when she finds out that herself and Jessica have to pretend that they were separated at birth!
2x20 One Big Mesa
Sweet Valley High Vs Big Mesa – it’s the football game of the season and tensions are very high between the rival schools. Each school is trying to out-prank the other, while Todd is trying to organise a flawless half-time show.
2x21 Sam Kind Of Wonderful
Lila becomes jealous of all the time Jessica is spending with Sam, and decides to take a closer interest in Cheryl’s hobbies; pottery and painting. Manny is still trying to win Enid, by becoming her perfect guy, but somehow gets the requirements very mixed up.
2x22 A Look Back In Anecdotes
Flashbacks ensue after Jessica and Elizabeth return to their old home in Sweet Valley many years after high school, to pack up their belongings and sell the house. But after looking back at all the good times they shared with friends and boyfriends they find they cannot just leave this place.

3x01 Much Ado About Nachos
The series opens with the gang spending some time at a Mexican resort, where some unseemly charges are made to Lila’s credit card thanks to an over-jealous Jessica. Manny is still in love with Enid, who is finally coming to realise this.
3x02 Shred Reckoning
Bruce has left Sweet Valley, but another Patman, Reginald, is on the way, much to the delight of Jessica and Lila, who have high hopes. With Bruce out of the way, Winston is hoping to become the Moon Beach’s new manager and sets about to bag himself the job.
3x03 Imperfectly Fit
Jessica and Lila are dying to star in Cheryl’s new fitness video, and go all out to prove that they are in great shape (or at least, their hair and nails are). Elizabeth starts her new job at the Tribune and meets fellow reporter Peter, who she guiltily starts to develop feelings for.
3x04 The Man of My Screams
Jessica has the nightmare of all nightmares – she kissed Shred. Now Lila tries to convince her that the only way to get over it is to live the dream. Todd is worried that Elizabeth may have feelings for Peter and convinces his friends to do some spying for him.
3x05 Are You a Man or a Mouse?
Much to his dismay, Elizabeth decides to break up with Todd, leaving Winston and Shred with the job of cheering him up. Meanwhile, Jessica loses Elizabeth’s science project – a mouse. Unaware of the importance of the mouse she hires an exterminator.
3x06 The Mondo Chill
When his favourite ice-cream man retires, Shred decides it is up to him to take over the job. Wanting to cheer Enid up, he hires her as his assistant. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Peter’s first date is spent taking care of an ill Jessica.
3x07 Surfing the Nets
The gang makes a bet – each one has to give up their personal quirks for 2 days, or pay $25! The last one to break wins all the money. Elizabeth and Peter have found their first big story – cut fishing nets on the beach, belonging to the Patman family. Shred must now face the terrifying task of standing up to his military father.
3x08 Mall Brats
Jessica and Lila want to model two dresses, but Lila’s credit cards are all rejected! The pair must find jobs in the mall in order to receive discounts on the dresses. Meanwhile Peter and Elizabeth break up…
3x09 Swish Upon a Star
Todd becomes a hero when he scores the winning point at a basketball game and pretty soon his head becomes way too big for the halls of Sweet Valley High. Jessica is quickly becoming way too self-obsessed, and when she spoils Enid’s surprise party that’s the last straw for Elizabeth.
3x10 The Tooth hurts
Cheryl and Enid have to convince Shred that he is addicted to chocolate but he won’t believe it. Todd is still out of control, but when Headline America wants to interview him nerves start to get the better, and his asks Elizabeth for help.
3x11 Rock Around the Block
Todd is thrown off the Basketball team when the coach finds out he has been accepting illegal gifts. To make matters worse, Elizabeth is crushed when a television interview with Todd shows him completely disregarding their relationship. Jessica’s new neighbours are way too loud and she has had enough – that is, until she drops in on their band practice and meets A.J.
3x12 Lofty Ambitions
Elizabeth and Enid are fed up with their ‘boring’ images, and want to try something wild! Winston is becoming frustrated with the tricks that the Moon Beach’s competitors keep pulling on him and his café.
3x14 A Star is Torn
Jessica’s attempts to help out A.J. and this band lead to heartbreak, as the band become so popular they may have to leave Sweet Valley. Elizabeth’s attempt to give away an extra concert ticket leads to a meeting with Todd.
3x15 Ready, Set, Snow!
Jessica and Lila selfish ways lead to a visit from three ghosts in a “Christmas Carol”-esque series of events. Will they discover that Christmas is not just about receiving presents but giving them as well?
3x16 Don’t Strand So Close To Me
After finding out that Elizabeth has a new boyfriend, Todd asks Carrie out on a date. But when the two get lost hiking he calls Elizabeth for help, interrupting her date with Chad. Meanwhile, Jessica thinks she has psychic powers.
3x17 All Along the Water Tower
Elizabeth accidentally broadcasts over the school’s intercom what she looks for in a guy – resulting in a frenzy of offers for dates. Todd decides the best way to win her back is to be exactly the kind of guy she wants – which he found in a magazine she left at the Moon Beach.
3x18 My Fair Shred
Shred’s father wants him to go to military school and Shred is prepared to do anything to avoid this – even help Jessica and Lila get into his family’s prestigious Silver and Gold Ball.
3x19 Sweet Valley Fever
After an initial bout of enthusiasm, Jessica decides she doesn’t want to plan the next school dance, but sticks around long enough to decide on the theme – the 70s! An idea she stole from Enid. Elizabeth is left to plan the dance and struggle with Todd’s costume requests. Manny and Enid are still trying unsuccessfully to get together.
3x20 Crimes and Cappuccinos
Lila is suddenly kidnapped outside the Moon Beach, leaving Jessica minus one best friend, so she decides to spend more time with Enid. Winston’s new cappuccino machine is doing wonders for business at the Moon Beach.
3x21 Search For Liz
After Jessica hits her head hard, she falls into a dreams where all the gang become characters in one of her favourite soap operas, with hilarious and high-drama results!
3x22 Might As Well Jump
Jessica is facing spring break in school, instead of living it up in Europe with Lila, if she can’t make up her Social Studies grade. Meanwhile, Winston wants Todd to join him in a traditional plunge off Jackson’s Bluff.

4x01 Romance Wasn’t Built In a Day
Enid wins a radio contest and takes her friends to a resort in Brazil, where she constantly wants to sample every activity. Todd is looking for him and Elizabeth to sleep together. Jessica and Lila spot the handsome Ricardo, only to find out he is there to meet the extremely irritating Renata.
4x02 Loose Lips Sink Yachts
The arrival of new student Devon Whitelaw has Jessica and Renata in a twist, as they battle for his attention. Elizabeth makes a startling discovery that Devon’s parents have been killed in a boating accident and he stands to receive their inheritance.
4x03 Drag King
Winston is trying is hardest to make new-comer Renata feel more at home at the Moon Beach, by experimenting with different themes. Still determined to win over Devon, Jessica decides to try a love potion.
4x04 The Right to Bare Midriffs
When rumours of a dress code for Sweet Valley High school start to fly, Jessica, Lila and Renata start a protest. Meanwhile, Winston is wanting to meet his online girlfriend, but a misunderstanding over a picture leads her to believe that he is Todd.
4x05 Lights, Camera, Factions
Jessica isn’t interested in Winston’s new movie he’s shooting – until she realises its going in a film festival that is judged by Friskel and Debert. Will her over-powering ways be the end of Winston’s film? Devon accuses Elizabeth off being up-tight and sets out to try and loosen her up.
4x06 A Kiss is Just a Kiss
Jessica thinks she’s found her ideal guy, unfortunately Devon only seems to have eyes for Elizabeth. Todd volunteers to give Renata driving lessons.
4x07 The Kiss Heard Around the School
News of Devon and Elizabeth’s kiss soon travels around school and when Todd finds out he goes in search of Devon to give him what he deserves. Meanwhile, Enid is having ambitions of becoming an ear model, thanks to Cheryl.
4x08 Lucky Streaks
Elizabeth starts to go out with Devon, while Todd retaliates by going out with Renata. Jessica can’t bear to lose a guy, least of all to her sister, leading to her anger over the situation.
4x09 West Coast Story
Again, its time for the big game against Big Mesa, as both school try to out-prank one other. Sweet Valley thought they had the game down, until Christian Gorman, Big Mesa’s star player, returns to town.
4x10 West Coast Story, Part Deux
Is this year’s prank war getting out of hand? A fight is scheduled between the two schools turning harmless fun into serious danger. Jessica has fallen for the enemy. Her involvement with Christian is met with criticism from her classmates, so much so that she considers transferring to Big Mesa.
4x11 Rumble In The Valley
The postponed fight is on again – but Manny and Winston don’t want to go through with is and are considering dropping out. Devon is trying to apologise to Elizabeth for his recent out-of-control behaviour.
4x12 Devon Breaklaw
Elizabeth manages to break up with Devon, as his violent behaviour was starting to scare her. Renata still wants Todd back, and enlists Jessica’s help to make her into an ‘all-American’ girl.
4x13 Skiing is Believing
The girls head off for a weekend of skiing, where Jessica is determined to show her superiority on the slopes and win the downhill race. Back home, Manny is worried that Enid may fall for someone else while she is away.
4x14 Single In Sweet Valley
Elizabeth’s friends convince her to write into a radio show in response to a guy called ‘Single In Sweet Valley’, in hopes of finding a date. Meanwhile, new student Betsy is becoming Jessica’s shadow.
4x15 Sailing Solution
‘Single in Sweet Valley’ was Todd and the pair are finally together again! Todd is wanting to go sailing to celebrate but Elizabeth realises she has an award ceremony to attend. Jessica and Lila have their familiar rivalry going strong, as they compete to see who is the better hostess!
4x16 Down By Whitelaw
Devon is struggling to keep his anger and violent tendencies in check, and Elizabeth agrees to help him. Things only get worse when the case of his parents’ death is re-opened, with Devon as the main suspect. Devon starts to have disturbing dreams which he worries connects him to the murder.
4x17 Down By Whitelaw, Part Dos
Devon realises who was the blame for his parents’ death, but its too late. Elizabeth has gone to talk to them and they have taken her hostage.
4x18 Swing Time
Elizabeth is worried that Todd may have slept with Renata whilst they were briefly dating, especially when Renata continues her flirtatious ways with him. Jessica is insistent on becoming the subject of a new photographer, no matter how much her friends warn her against it.
4x19 Down Horoscope
Enid’s avid interest in horoscopes leads her to believe that her and Devon are meant to be together. Meanwhile Jessica is determined to keep her and Devon’s relationship a secret. Todd is subjected to teasing after Elizabeth’s self defence skills protect them both.
4x20 A Simple Twist of Mates
Whilst in the library, Todd mistakes Jessica for Elizabeth and kisses her. Both are determined to keep this from Elizabeth and Devon, but a double date proves disastrous.
4x21 Ticket to Lie
When Jessica gets caught for speeding she presents the officer with her sister’s ID. Manny and Enid are facing a dilemma when they find out there is a chance that they are related.
4x22 Animal Rights and Wrongs
Elizabeth and Jessica are going to star in a commercial for Double Vision Cosmetics! However Elizabeth makes the startling discovery that the company test their products on animals. Will she be able to go through with the commercial for Jessica? Other tensions arise, as Winston is upset at the way Todd keeps blowing him off for his basketball buddies.
